SPRINGHILL – The North Webster Knights advanced so that you can round two of the Class 3A 2010 nfl playoffs with a convincing 10-0 win over KIPP Rebirth at Randy McMahen Park.
North Webster used a couple of pitchers to combine for a shutout of their first-round opponent. The Knights will experience Winnfield in the second round in a three-game series to be played with McMahen Park, beginning Friday during 3:30. Game two of the series will the same day during 6 p.m. and if necessary, game three is going to be Saturday at noon.
North Webster had taken an early lead in the initial inning when Riley Orr singled on a 3-2 count rating two runs.
The Knights have scored four runs in the minute inning on a walk, passed basketball and double by Cameron Huff.
Orr generated the win for N . Webster. He threw three innings, giving up zero runs, one struck, striking out seven together with walking zero.
Sawyer Howard threw just one inning scoreless inning as did Josh Harrison. Gainer took the loss for KIPP Renaissance. He delivered four innings, allowing nine operates, five hits, and eye-catching out one.
Orr led the manner in which at the plate as well, finishing using two hits and some RBIs, followed by Huff with two strikes and two RBIs.
